RESITA - GARANA - SEMENIC AREA
Budapest 6 hours Bucharest 6 hours Belgrade 2.5 hours

labour.
Garâna , a mountain top village originally developed by the Germans before the Second World War is now a pretty holiday resort with a number of second homes. Its gentle summer climate and winter snow provides all-year activities. During the autumn it is host to a number of cultural activities such as a jazz festival. You can visit the open-air exhibition of famous sculptures.
The whole area is surrounded by mountains, forests and 3 lakes ideal for water sports and fishing. The area is established as a popular recreational and holiday destination both for Romanians and foreigners.
